IRE ELiT and PI Medical Diagnostic Equipment announce commercial partnership for Galli Ad generator in the Netherlands and Flanders
Fleurus (Belgium) and Raamsdonksveer (The Netherlands) – . IRE ELiT & PI Medical Diagnostic Equipment enters into a commercial partnership to promote and market the Germanium-68 / Gallium-68 generator, Galli Ad, indicated for in vitro radiolabeling of radiopharmaceutical kits and preparation developed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging.
IRE ELiT is already established with its generator in the Netherlands and Flanders since obtaining its Marketing Authorization in 2018. Until now, IRE ELiT has dealt directly with customers, but it has decided to move closer to its customers by offering local and technical proximity thanks to its partnership with PI Medical, thereby guaranteeing a high quality of service and expertise.

PI Medical Diagnostic Equipment B.V. was founded in 1995. The company has always been a distributor for mostly the BeNeLux countries. In the past the company was mainly focused on equipment in Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy. In 2018 Peter Liedorp and John Danklof took over the company. About Gallium-68
Gallium-68 is the isotope which, when accompanied by a cold vector, is used in oncology for the diagnosis of neuroendocrine cancers, particularly difficult to detect at the early stage, and for the diagnosis of prostate cancer (recurrent forms), the most common cancer in men. It is also used in clinical development for other promising indications.
